In 1912, the imperio do ceara (its basically brazil) aproved the constructuion oficina 4 dreadnoughts to replace their obsolete pre dreadnoughts. Unlike all their ships before however, these would be the first to be designed and made in the empires shipyard. They looked at designs from the northern empire (basically britain) and then proceded to create the ceara class battleship. The ship was weird in design. Armed with only 12 13 inch guns, and no secondary guns, she had a belt of 10.3 inches, and a speed of around 17 knots. the ARC Ceara would see major combat in the first global fire exchange (ww1) and would be sunk by a submarine in 1917.
