This tower, known as Figueroa at Wilshire, was built in 1990 by Albert C. Martin and Associates, a firm based in Los Angeles, famous for designing the LA City Hall. The tower won the Rose Award for Outstanding New Office Building. It is the eighth tallest building in Los Angeles at 219m (719 ft.) tall.

Note: Redstone may not work properly in schematic. This is due to potential and unavoidable errors when using this method

In my interpretation of this tower, i focused on the building's details. This caused the building to be a little disproportional to its real world counterpart. The entire building is furnished and lit, and the crown of the tower lights up at night automatically. Hope you all enjoy.

Lovely to see a furnished skyscraper. Although there is some minor error in the lobby I think. There are electronic gates placed before the elevators and stairs. On both sides you can walk along the stairs towards the restricted area and thus avoiding the electronic gates.

What kind of method are you using? I looked into the redstone, of the worldsave, and it kept giving of signal. After a replacement by the same block/daylight sensors. The system worked the other way around. Litting up the top on day and getting dark in the night. Meaning you forgot to place inverters or you used an unknown trick of inverting the daylight sensors.

Anyway great job on it.

Yeah, I may put some glass there. And the daylight sensors should be working properly, as long as you are in minecraft 1.8 or later. In those versions, you can invert the daylight sensors to night sensors. Much easier to set up than my previous contraptions

Oh wow, didn't knew you could change daylight into night detectors. That explains a lot. besides putting an inverter instead of a repeater shouldn't be much work either.

Thanks for the explanation.

This looks great! You would have the entire LA skyline sooner or later XD. This builds name reminded me of the wilshire grand tower, you have plans on building that?

Thank you. I plan on doing a few more LA buildings, but not the entire skyline. And I may do the Wilshire Grand Hotel at some point, but I will have to find some decent drawings of its base. And the reason for the similar names is that this tower and the hotel are right next to each other
