News: Thanks to everyone for sticking with me over all this time, however, I am sad to say that I will be discontinuing work on this map. This is a fully functional Five Night's at Freddy's remake in Minecraft. Using a majority of the new 1.8 command features, as well as a combination of animated Armor Stands, I have recreated the terrifying experience of playing Five Night's at Freddy's in vanilla Minecraft. This map will of course use a resource pack that shall be included in the map download.

WARNINGS:
  • This map contains sudden images and loud noises. It will be scary.
  • At the beginning of the game, you may experience what you believe to be a crash or your Minecraft freezing over, do not close your game. This is just the resource pack attempting to play the first sound.
  • Due to current laggy nature of Minecraft (especially under the stress I'm putting it through) it is completely normal to experience lag or slowness during playing this game IF you have a slow PC. Unfortunately this is completely out of my control. Apologies.
Night 01:
Began building the basic rooms and designing the resource pack. Gotta say that of all the textures that I designed, I'm most proud of the animatronic characters. They really are quite creeepy... too creepy actually. I think I'll keep them despawned until the map is actually being played. Don't really think I can work with those huge eyes glaring a hole in the back of my head. But anyway, the Pizzaria is officially complete, I'll move on to the redstone tomorrow!

Night 02:
After many painstaking hours, I have finally completed work on the camera system. Using the new spectator mode and a VERY fast redstone timer, I am able to keep the players in virtually whatever place I see fit. Also rigged up a tellraw command to help players move between camera locations. As far as I can see, there are no bugs. I've checked through all the wiring and command blocks and found no anomalies, but, I swear I keep seeing those animatronic Armor Stands popping around the map and vanishing almost immediately after.

Night 03:
I've been making excellent progress with the map so far. Turns out that VERY fast redstone timer had been powering the Armor Stand summoning command blocks, hence why they had been spawning everywhere. I've deactiivated it now, but I'm pretty sure the odd Freddy is still hiding in the dark spots out there. Anyhow, I've established basic movement patterns for most of the characters (except that fox one), which, unfortunately, means I'll need to spawn them back in to test whether or not it really works. I'm expecting to finish work in maybe two days from now...

Night 04:
So, I have some interesting news... In its current state, the map is technically functional. By some miracle everything is working out well, with the exception of the lag. I gave the map a test run earlier and I'd say that by tomorrow I should have all bugs squashed. There's just one problem... that bear. It moves when it shouldn't. I don't know why, but for some reason, it just keeps moving to places it shouldn't be... and don't even get me started on the speed of it! It moves from in to out the map in what seems like a number of seconds, and once he sets off, they all do. I swear these things must have a mind of their own or something.

Night 05:
Okay, um... if... uh, if you're reading this, then that's good. That's great. I just came to say quickly that I, uh, I might not be able to finish everything up by tonight... I guess I might, kinda need some extra time. Don't worry, just don't worry... everything will be fine, right? Everything will be fine... okay, I promise it'll be done soon... maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but... soon, definitely soon. I... uh... I gotta go now, be-before they get in here...

Night 06:
Alright, this is it. The final test run. Hopefully if this map works those animatronics will leave me alone... To say building this was easy would be a lie. That constant banging on my door wasn't helping either. Ah, well, wish me luck...

  • Reduced the sudden-ness of the sudden ending of the nights.
  • Added a 'Begin Night' option.
  • Reduced the likeliness of the night randomly ending.
