Thanks for visiting FjellThorpe, The Mountain Village! We're looking forward to your visit in just a few short days! In order to help you get ready for your arrival, our itinerary directors have developed a guide to show you around the island.
FjellThorpe is broken up into five different areas, with each one offering a different story to tell you. While there are different sections to what you see, each area must work harmoniously with those around it to keep the island thriving!
FjellThorpe Entrance: When you’re ready to begin the adventures waiting for you at FjellThorpe, this is where you will enter the park! This area is home to the ticketing windows, Guest Relations and is also home to a full service restaurant, Ye Olde Tavern. The entrance features a 30 meter tall roof, designed to mimic the landscape of the FjellThorpe mountain range.
Herra Selby’s Wood Farm: Due to the popularity of the park, we will be undergoing massive expansion and to help with the land clearing, FjellThorpe Construction Group has outsourced some work to Herra Selby. Herra Selby’s Wood Farm is home to Timber Heights, a high speed wooden roller coaster that provides an exciting and rough overview of the demolition. Timber Heights will be open for riding on Opening Day! The area is also home to Timber Photos, an area to purchase your ride photos as a keepsake! For those who aren’t quite big enough to enjoy all the wood farm has to offer, there’s is a rest and relaxation room located next to the ride entrance.
Northern Excavation and Drilling Facility: Northern Excavation and Drilling is a mineral extraction company located on the FjellThorpe Island that is actively hiring more miners and may be looking for your help! This area is home to two very distinct attractions. The Winds of Njord is a 60 meter tall drop tower named after Njord, the Norse wind god. The Winds of Njord will be open for riding on Opening Day! Unearthed: Mining Expedition is the second attraction in the area which begins when you join the N.E.D. team and help go on a mining mission to test out the newest drill to the company. Unearthed is the tallest attraction in the park and will be open for riding on Opening Day! The facility is also home to Pointe Pub, a full service bar and restaurant. The facility is also where you can find restrooms and locker rentals.
National Museum: The FjellThorpe mountains and island have a very rich history, so it’s understandable to why the majority of the park is owned by FjellThorpe National Museum. While the land is expansive, the physical museum only takes up a fraction of the area. Currently in the museum, you can enjoy the Mysteries of the Mountain exhibit. The area is currently home to one attraction, Mysteries of the Mountain, a dark ride, rollercoaster hybrid where you can journey deep into the mountain and help Professor Ivar uncover proof of a dragon lurking in the caves and caverns of the mountain! Mysteries of the Mountain will be open for riding on Opening Day! The FjellThorpe National Museum has also developed a firework and nighttime spectacular for you to enjoy called Legends of FjellThorpe! The show is based around Norse myths and features fireworks, high tech lighting and awe inspiring floats! Legends of FjellThorpe will be running on Opening Day! The museum is also home to two restaurants. Sif’s Harvest, a full service family style restaurant and Glacial Springs, a quick service cafeteria. Viking Gifts is also located here, an area to purchase cheesy viking style toys to bring on your adventures out into the real world!
Jormungand’s Den: Some know that the mountains are guarded by a ferocious dragon, others believe the beast is a myth. Well... seeing is believing! Jormungand’s Den is home to one attraction. Jormungand’s Splash is a water coaster attraction which climbs up the mountains to get to the bottom of the 'dragon myth' but, when the myth turns out to be a reality, you have to find your way down and out... quickly!
Nordic Inn: Your journey will begin at the Nordic Inn, a quaint, small island resort that will be your home for the duration of your visit! Complete with an ice fishing dock, several small walking trails and most importantly, a walking path to FjellThorpe! Each room comes complete with full-sized bed, small wash closet, and a balcony with a island view!
Well, that's our simple rundown of Fjellthorpe! We look forward to your visit, the adventures are waiting!

Just a few short notes: Every ride in the park, including the drop tower, is a functioning ride. The MCParks technicians worked very hard to make this all possible. The firework show, Legends of FjellThorpe, is also entirely playable. Enjoy!
