-------------------------------------------------------------This is your classic apocalyptic city with some twists to it! Discover the story behind the town and why things turned out how they did. How did they turn out? Well, we're pretty sure that at least 99% of the monsters in the world have been imposed on your town. The only way to survive and possibly get some answers is by escaping via the shuttle pad outside the town. There are plenty of civilians left, but as the monsters come, the survivors grow thin and everybody wants on the last ticket out. You will have to take an item from each of the 9 sectors of the city and activate the shuttle to get out. Will you escape the inevitable?
NOTE: This should be played as a multiplayer challenge rather than a typical adventure map.

NOTE: We have decided to use Flans Mod and Custom NPCs for our map for item spawners and tons of weapons! The reasoning behind this is that Minecraft weapons are medieval and makeshift, while this map is set in a modern time period. Therefore, we feel that more relevant weapons are needed, thus Flans Mod and Custom NPCs. You need Minecraft Forge to get it, as well as the add ons to Flans Mod.

There are a few ways to play:
MULTIPLAYER COMPETITIVE(recommended): Everybody has the same goal: to escape before they are overrun. But, any player can choose to turn on their friends and take the grand prize for themselves. Alliances can be made and broken at will, and players may even go as far as to eliminate the competition to get one step closer to the prize. No one is safe in this unpredictable feud!
MULTIPLAYER COOPERATIVE: All for one and one for all is the name of the game in this mode! Every player works to keep the team alive and well to get as many players to escape as possible. Leave no person behind!
SINGLEPLAYER MISSION: You're on your own. It will take extra courage and resolve to best the monsters and ride out solo!
"HUNGER GAMES": Last player standing! PvPvE takes effect as players scramble for weapons to outlast the competition. The "cornucopia" is on top of the power plant in sector II. Escaping the map is not a goal, but the cit itself makes for a great HG experience!

Additional Notes

We will have the Modded download on this page, but there will be links to the other download pages at the top. For the Modded version,
Required: Forge, Flans Mod (with all item packs), Custom NPCs
Optional: Smart Moving (Player API required for Smart Moving)

*We are trying to get permission to post a mods folder and a .jar for your convenience
It should work rather well as an urban HG map. But that's after.

If enough people comment and say that they would want this, my friend with a port-forwarded computer can host a City Escape (MP competitive) once a week or so. I think it would be great to compete and make some friends as well.
