Hey hey!
Here I made a new map, for Minecraft 1.18 and above
The size of the map is around 1k x 1k, with some forests, rivers and a few mountains,
There are no structures (end dungeons/villages etc) on this map, but caves/ores are on the map available,
But be careful when mining, so do remember rule 1 of Minecraft, never dig straight down... before u fall into the endless void
The map is made for:
Minecraft java 1.18 or above.
Please give credit when using the map for any public meanings.
(Servers, realms etc)

I have shared the settings images somewhere on the worldpainter discord so I would suggest checking it out there
I used 4 different cave layers to ''dig'' out the shape of the underside,
then using void with an endless void border option the islands are floating in the void xD
never heard of those typical floating methods u are talking about, perhaps I should do some research about it, it sounds fun!
since it uses the new world height, blocks it cant be downgraded sadly
