Here i ame again.
first of all happy new year to evrybody!! yay
But now lets get started.
While taking a look at this build i noticed a few things that spring to mind imidiatly.
the first and most obvius is that this build is realy hard to judge properly. The explenation i foud most suited for this is probly the way its represented in the video and images.
so lets try to break this douwn a bit.
there are 2 sets of images and a movie in this prodject
the first set is the orange tinted screanshots, the movie, and secondly the close up shots in bright vibrent collors
looking mostly at the orange tinted images and some of the shots in the video.
the images are shot using shaders with ingame time set to dusk/dawn, this because of the bright orange tint accros the iamges. and most of the shots are derectly pointed at the sun to create this nice fun sun flare and volumatric lighting effects.
this ofcorse creates nice cinematic effects but the douwnside to using this is that the the detail of the objects become less visable. and the image becomes monochroom (evrything becomes oranges)
ofcorse this can be used to your advantige and boost the representation but, in this case i feel its hurting the prodject more then its actualy bennefitting it.
the things i focus on while judging prodjects are:
-well defined and sharp images that show the entire prodject
-and well defined/sharp images of the main detail objects placed in the world.
-images that represent the strenght of the prodject
this prodject shows a verry collerfull and vibrant guarden with birds butterflys and other living things, plants that bloom structures and statues, but i'm unable to see these things because the representation turns the entire place orange ;), the sun is obstructing my view more then its guiding me towards the intresting elements, and the depth of field is a tool that should be used cafully.
so overall
i will not be able to judge the structures properly without doing it justice, but i will be able to tell you that representing prodjects properly is some thing that might need a little bit more atention
overall still good stuff good stuff
