Stubbs1 & Tom - French Chateau, Vaux le Vicomte inspired
Hi there!
My name is Stubbs. Me and Tom built this French Chateau, partly so he could teach me how to build in this specific style. We used the Vaux le Vicomte as a reference point, as it is a smaller chateau, and a good start for me to practice on.

This was actually suggested by DreamWanderer who requested a French chateau, and I thought it would be a good challenge to try and built something that I have never tried before. So yeah, this is very much a practice build, and there will be lots and lots of historical inaccuracies so erh... Don't look too much into this, as my main goal was trying to match the style, not to be historical accurate :'D

This was built in JAVA Edition version 1.18, with Creative mode and World Edit
(Hey! I'm slowly getting better at using World Edit :D )

Also might I add: I now have huge respect for people who mainly build chateaus!
I mean... I can fumble my way through a castle build and still get a good result by just casually hiding certain mistakes behind some vines, but with chateau building, I genuinely need to take more time, since each detail is very apparent in both renders and when flying around it! It is true that I could've had this chateau completed in 2 weeks, but honestly: With this type of build, I NEED to take extra time to get it right.
