Frigid Medieval Village: Alptanes

Alptanes, a secluded medieval village located in the dense spruce forests of northern Europe, experinces a winter like no other. Frozen, icy grounds and layers upon layers of snow blanket the village. Where grass flourishes during the spring, snow covers. The settlers here at Alptane work together to utilize their resources of various stones and wood to create what they need to survive and beat the cold. Warm chimneys available in most settlers homes offer comfort during harsh, frigid nights. During the day, men work in parties to hunt for the elk and deer that roam the woods out of necessity for the village to survive. Every settler in the village knows nothing less than hard work and are the only reason they have survived for this long.
