But here is a few constructive criticisms if you are still updating the map if you would like:
1: the beginning is really slow, mainly because of the the really long delay between waves. I feel that the delay could be 30 seconds instead of 60 to speed things up.
2: I know you were probably wanting to do a 1:1 re-creation of the original, but I think it would be exciting if you took some creative choices such as with the pack-a-punches and the items you acquire to keep things interesting and unique
3: The weapons are really basic, I didn't grab every weapon from the Random Box but I felt like I was mostly getting shovels and the occasional helmet. Since you have control of literally everything, it would be nice to have a more variety of weapons such as pre-enchanted weapons and weapons that have special abilities that you can code with command blocks. For example, I made a RPG map and I made lots of special weapons for players to find; such as a sword that applies slowness to hit enemies or a shield that heals when it blocks damage.
4: I wish all the weapons either had an unbreaking effect or just had unbreakable tag because the wooden and stone tools/weapons usually don't last the whole wave and I was usually stuck in the same area because I could not afford to buy any doors because I kept buying the same stone shovel again and again
5: You can definitely do more with splash potions, especially since the player will fight massive hordes of zombies, I see what you did with "grenades", but I think it would be fun to have more options such as wither potions and weakness potions - even if it's deviating from the original COD game
6: This would be a bigger change, but I'm not a fan of using the rotten flesh as currency. Zombies don't always drop them and it's annoying waiting so long for them to process. I would suggest using experience levels because you can use command blocks to remove experience when you open doors
Hopefully you find this helpful and I look forward to playing your other re-creations!
There is enchanted weapons in the mystery box as well as so called wonder weapons. One thing also is there is a full easter egg built into the map, once you complete the tasks you acquire emeralds and many enchanted items!
On my newest maps Im looking for ways to streamline the flesh system and it should be quicker however changing this map would require a full redesign which I dont have too much time for.
Anyways thanks so much and I hope you get started on the EE a tip is that you need a bow to shoot buttons around the map as well as a couple other things. Thanks!
1: Same, I noticed your Verruckt map has a 30 second delay so... yeah
2: Note still stands, I think you can be add your own unique flair instead of sticking to the Cod map so religiously - especially in regards to strategy to kill zombies. Once I learned the basic method killing massive waves got kind of boring and I was more interested in finishing the Easter Egg and the zombie killing was just filler. I also highly suggest using entities other than zombies such as spiders and skeletons to vary up the gameplay and make it more challenging once someone gets used to a certain strategy.
3: As I played more I did notice some "Wonder Weapons". I would suggest to have more of these since you break them pretty quick if they don't have the Unbreaking enchantment (or add the Unbreakable tag). Also, try to give the player more swords because they are the only viable weapon after the first few rounds because you need the sweep attack; the stone and wood tools break very quick usually within the round
4: Note still stands, it's mostly only an issue in the beginning though
5: Definitely still suggest this note of adding more splash potions. I would also suggest adding in traps or other tools. Fighting a wave of 200 zombies is tough and it would be fun to something in the game that can be used in a strategic way
That's all. I will absolutely play any more of these maps that you make in the future because they are made really well and are fun to play!!!!
I wish you luck!
