My second project on Planet Minecraft! It's a giant glass light bulb where I've been working on for that last couple of days. I have a thread on the Minecraft forums about it. The fitting will contain a secret entrance and a portal to the nether. Also a way to get into the bulb will be added.

add interior to base (nether portal & such)
secret piston entrance (to base)
exchange wool for iron (when I have it)

I've added the wire and placed some iron in the bottom of the glass bulb. A schematic is available for the bulb right now! Get it here!

Why dont u get the pluggin that when you power glass with redstone it turns int glowstone

That way u can wire all the glass up and turn the light bulb "on" and "off"

im sorry i cant remember it at the moment but try bukkit or google, u should be able to find it

I didn't even know that plugin existed! Do you by any chance have it's name? Anyway, I'll certainly look into it! Thanks for the idea
