The only problem is that he had the wall next to the door open for the glass to be removed and placed, it would be impossible to do the same for the middle 2 blocks :(

Yea i have tried and i get it to work but like you said, the floor would be glass everytime and would not switch out, i think i might try his design and make it bigger and add a horizontal piston under the floor facing opposite direction and use that for the floor

Very cool I have always hated using glass in my doors because you can then see the sticky pistons, thanks you pg5!
