BUILT IN 1.12.2, other versions probably work just fine but I haven't tested it so I can't guarantee anything.
OVERVIEW:
A 6k x 6k map that's more or less a recreation of Grand Teton National Park. Because of the height and render distance limits, I had to take some liberties here and there (Ex. instead of Jackson Lake Dam it's just a small waterfall, there are less trees near the mountains because they make the peaks look smaller). You should be able to get pretty good views of the mountains from a reasonable render distance (24-32), but my screenshots are rendered with Chunky, which has no render distance limit.
SURVIVAL:
There are no caves, so underneath trees monsters will spawn a lot. Ores are boosted a little bit to compensate. Some blocks are unavailable, such as acacia or jungle saplings and wood. All ground resources (sand, clay, ores, etc.) should be in the world except a few exceptions like mycelium and podzol. There are no structures, (villages, ocean monuments, stronghold, etc). I recommend playing with mods that will allow you to get around these limitations, but you can still have fun without.
