Grant Thornton Tower - Chicago, Illinois
This is a 1:1 scale replica of the Grant Thornton Tower, formally the Chicago Title and Trust Center. It is an office tower, and was designed by the firm Kohn Pederson Fox Associates. It's address is 161 N. Clark Street, right next to the Thompson Center and Chicago City Hall, and located in the Chicago Loop neighborhood, which is the city's primary financial hub.
Some history and facts on the building:
The Grant Thornton Tower is 50 stories high, 756 (250m) tall, and has 23 elevators/lifts. Before it's completion in 1990, the twin tower design was awarded The Chicago Athenaeum's "Best Building" Architecture Award,the award was received by one of the lead designers Kevin Flanagan. The building was completed in 1992, on the site of Chicago's Greyhound Bus Station. Previously, a structure at 111 West Washington was known as the Chicago Title & Trust Building. After CT&T moved to the new tower in 1992, its former home became known as the Burnham Center, which is kitty cornered to Chicago's infamous Daley Plaza.
Fun Fact:
The building was originally intended to have a twin at 181 N. Clark Street, but the plan has been dropped twice: first after the original completion of the first tower, and then again in 2001 after the 9/11 terror attacks. A multi-level parking garage with small offices above currently occupies the space where the north tower may someday be constructed.

One more render is now included in the post, and the buildings roofing details have been slightly revised, making them more scaled, aswell has more realistic. A new download link and texture pack have been included, the map becoming about 1/3 bigger, and the texture pack becoming more Chicago like. Stay tuned for more!
