Greatwood Bastion is an age-old mage tower presiding over West Kaladour's Lake Farthing. It was constructed for Archmage Mekriv as a summer retreat from his courtly duties. Now, the tower lays uninhabited while the denizens of the nearby town wonders what happened to its owner. He has, instead, left for otherworldly duties, selling the tower to his first bidder.
