What is a pedway system? A pedway is a series of interconnected tunnels reserved for people to walk in. They are most common in large cities with cold weather or large road systems that impede easy pedestrian crossing. This pedway connects The Greenfield Waterfront to the Riverwalk, Central Park, Central Buisness District, Club District, and Union Terminal. It also connects to the downtown subway station and the Union Terminal subway station. Pedways give the pedestrian another option of travel when living in such a car centered area like a city.
