The HMS Speedy was a 14 gun brig of the Royal Navy built in 1782, she was famous for capturing the much much larger Spanish Frigate El Gamo in the so called ''Action of 6 May 1801'' under command of the biggest swagger in the Royal Navy: Thomas Cochrane.
