Armed with 6 8'' guns, 3 each mounted port and starboard, and 8 500 lbs bomb bays, the Halifax Frigates pack a hefty punch into a smaller, faster, and more versatile airship. Reaching speeds up to twice that of the Dauntless class, the Halifax is able to strike its target and be gone long before any counter-attack can be mounted.

It looks to heavy to be an airship but that's just my opinion.

I concur. But it still looks fantastic. Anyway, the airships in Wooding's "Ketty Jay" series would also be too heavy, were it not for a lighter-than-air substance known as aerium. This is steampunk, things can afford to be a little bit fantasy as well.

I imagine a diesel-steam engine is a steam engine with steam generated using diesel fuel instead of coal or oil?
