Unusual Incidents Unit Field Office 283

Location: ██████████, Oregon

Facility Objective: To assist the Field Office in Portland in containing the threat posed by The Three Portlands in THUS-1221 (Boring, Oregon). This area has disproportionate anomalous activity and has also been known to contain enemy assailants such as the Terrorist Group known as The Foundation.

Current Operations: The Field Office contains a floor for public appearances on the 28th Level of the local Federal Bureau of Investigations Field Office. Below in the Substructure, the UIU maintains a facility which has the necessities of preforming our work, containing Witnesses to anomalies, housing site records, and containing Unusual Entities and the Evidence of them. In the case of a power outage, the facility also has a backup generator, and it currently meets all UIU set safety measures for radiation containment.

[​Revision] Has been relocated to the Wilson Wildlife Sanctuary run by The Foundation in █████, Oregon. Cell is to be maintained in case Foundation Containment fails.

Codename: 'The Polar Bear'

Physical Description: Creature was a polar bear of non-noteworthy appearance.

Capabilities: Creature continuously absorbed heat in a large radius, reducing ambient temperature sub-zero levels. Heat is converted to light, which radiates from its fur coat. This property was known to be exacerbated by extreme weather conditions

Evidence:

A: One (1) sample of hair, white: Shed by creature during quarantine, does not emit any radiation.

B: Metal wreckage: Remains of the spacecraft which it was found in. It is composed of unknown alloys which have been resistant to sampling attempts. Stamped with Soviet hammer-and-sickle symbol.

C: Photographs: Three photographs depicting agents investigating the initial crash site, losing their lives to the animal, and unknown third parties, possibly Soviet agents, interacting with the animal.
