Presenting my first published Minecraft map!

This project is basically a virtual exhibit of different plants that are used as dietary supplements or herbal remedies with descriptions that include their uses, interesting facts, their scientific names, and even their potential side effects.

I created this as an interactive study guide to help memorize the different uses for different herbal medicines - but I wanted to also make this available for everyone to download and explore in case you're also in need of a study guide for common herbal remedies, or if you just want to learn something new!

Includes displays and descriptions for 24 different plants used as herbal remedies - including milk thistle, green tea, echinacea, lavender, and more!

REQUIRED ADD-ONS & MODS TO LOAD THIS MAP CORRECTLY


Before launching the game or loading the Herbal Greenhouse Exhibit, please make sure you've taken care of the following steps. If you are missing any of these components, the map may not load correctly. I've linked the download pages and have specified the exact file names I have installed to help make this process easier!

1. Install Forge for Minecraft 1.12.2

  - To install, simply double click the Forge 1.12.2 Installer file (ends with .jar) after it's finished downloading and follow the on-screen prompts once it launches. This will automatically create an installation of Minecraft 1.12.2 that's modifiable to support Forge mods.

2. Have the following mod files in the "mods" folder under your ".minecraft" folder. The Miniaturia Mod is VERY IMPORTANT to have installed so all the customized items on the map display correctly. You need BOTH the Miniaturia Mod and the Miniaturia Resource Pack for this map on 1.12.2 or else the custom content on this map will display as checkered pink & black error blocks!

  - Just Enough IDs (JustEnoughIDs-1.0.3-55.jar)
  - Miniaturia Mod (miniaturia_mod-1.0.0pre2b.jar)
  - OptiFine (OptiFine_1.12.2_HD_U_G5.jar) *Make sure you download and install the version for Minecraft 1.12.2!
  - WorldEdit (worldedit-forge-mc1.12.2-6.1.10-dist.jar)

3. Have the following resource pack installed in the "resourcepacks" folder under your ".minecraft" folder:

  - MiniaTuria 1.12.2

4. Install the map by downloading the file here from PlanetMineCraft and moving it to your "saves" folder which is under your ".minecraft" folder. Extract the .zip file to a new folder called Herbal Greenhouse Exhibit. Once you launch Forge Minecraft 1.12.2, you should see this map listed on your Worlds page in Singleplayer mode.
