The C-130K Hercules W.2, commonly called "Snoopy", was a British weather research aircraft built off of a C-130K C.1 (The RAF variant of the Lockheed C-130E). IT is distinguished mainly by its unusual nose-probe, which is actually an atmospheric probe, as well as its large radar pod above the cockpit. The aircraft was retired in 2001, but later withdrawn from retirement and had its weather equipment removed to serve as a testbed for the new Europrop TP400-D6 Turboprop engine (used on the A400M Atlas). The airframe was finally scrapped in 2015.
A model of this will be coming out with the TP400-D6 engine attached to it.
You can check out this and some of my other builds on the Military Builders server, at my plot world. Do NOT use this build without crediting me, and do NOT claim this as your own.
