Hidden Workbench - SMALLEST DESIGN (3x4x3)
At the moment I saw Cubehamster's and Minecraftpg5's hidden workbenches I thought they did it to difficult. I found a much easier, resource friendlier, compacter and faster way of making this.

Other solutions
If the 3x4x3 design does not work, use the 3x5x3 design as shown in the second picture and in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDCPczODwik
If you have problems with the redstone torch, then simply fix it by making the design as is shown in picture 3 and 4.
