Witch City is one of Wondersanti's oldest Minecraft cities that started as a small plains village that grew over time thanks to the importance of its first military buildings. Its establishment in October 2012 occurs when Minecraft is updated to version 1.4.2 where witches are added as mobs, which is why the city bears its name. It was witness to wars, conflicts and destruction within its walls between the years of 2013 to 2019. Several periods of splendor and decline are still evident among its archaeological remains and in certain architectural witnesses. Its exceptional value lies in its importance as a multicultural capital that has welcomed Greek Orthodox, Catholics, Freemasons, Muslims and pagans who have learned to live in harmony after long periods of political and religious tensions.

Within the framework of its tenth anniversary, it was decided to carry out a master plan for the revitalization and revaluation of its historical heritage through the reconstruction and completion of the city. Houses and buildings were built in a neoclassical style inspired by the architecture of the City of Quetzaltenango and others in a vernacular style inspired by the architecture of the Town of Retalhuleu, both Guatemalan cities. Archaeological surveys and studies were also completed, which helped to better document the city's history.

Below is a brief description of each of the city's historic districts:

Centro Histórico (Historical Center)
The oldest part of the city where some original houses from the plain village still survive,
along with vestiges of the first splendor of the city (2012 - 2013).

Among its sites of historical interest are:

1. Avenida de la Paz and Iglesia de San Remo:

Built after the end of the Civil War in 2013 to commemorate the Peace Treaties.

2. Jardín Municipal (Municipal garden):

Original and well-preserved example of public space during the first stage of splendor
   of the city (2012).

3. Muro Viejo Archaeological Site:

Preserves the ruins of the pagan temple and evidence of Wither blasts dating back to
  the civil war.

4. Museo de Historia y Arqueología de Witch City (Witch City Museum of History and
 Archeology):

It has a rich collection of archaeological assets from the periods of the Foundation
(2012), the Civil War (2013), the Second City (2014-2016) and the War of
  Expropiaciones (2017-2019).

5. Castillo de Witch:

Old church of the original village converted into a fort and destroyed by Wither
attacks. Preserves old weapons used during the civil war and its original furniture.

Distrito de San Delfos (San Delfos District)
Multi-faceted part of the city that boasts the city's first Greek Orthodox church and first mosque. It also has important archaeological remains of the first city (Sitio Arqueológico Puente del Sanatorio) and a set of buildings in the neoclassical and vernacular style of Guatemala. Here there were some of the most important buildings of the second city and of the time of expropiations.

Among its sites of historical interest are:

1. San Delfos Greek Orthodox Church:

Built in 2014, grabs architectural inspiration from the town of Apotos from the game Sonic Unleashed.

2. Al-Fashir Mosque:

First and only mosque in the city built in 2014 with peculiar emerald domes. It is slightly   modified in 2016.

3. Puente del Sanatorio Archaeological Site:

The most important archaeological site in Witch City that evidences the existence of a   mysterious sandstone structure along with traces of the well and the original main street.

Barrio Griego (Greek Town)
The first substantial expansion of the city was aimed at housing the newly arrived Greek community after the end of the civil war. Houses, a park and a Greek Orthodox church were built with architecture based on that of Apotos (Cycladic). During the period of the second city it was part of the now defunct first metro line of the city together with that of the historic center. In terms of urban planning, the community had considerable influence on the construction of the artificial Witch River, its boardwalk and bridges to compliment the Mediterranean landscape that the neighborhood already had.

It recently witnessed a dramatic isolation from the rest of the city due to the Expropiaciones War where foreign companies were removed from their land in San Delfos after having committed legal fraud and tax evasion causing the community to be fenced off to protect itself from intruders and impostors during battle. Last year, the community financed the construction of the Ágios Xrysanthos Church and Ágios Xrysostomos Chapel, two of the most impressive structures in the city as part of their community master plan.

Among its sites of historical interest are:

1. Ágios Xrysostomos Greek Orthodox Chapel:

A monumental cycladic chapel with rich neoclassical interior originally designed to    accompany the Iglesia de San Delfos.

2. Ágios Xrysanthos Greek Orthodox Church:

Built with a beautiful white dome and a rich sanctuary, its unique bell tower can be seen from the historic center.

3. San Delfín Greek Orhodox Church:

The second Greek church to be built in the city, it stands out for its lapis lazuli dome.
