Hello! Here is the reproduction of the first castle of my project which consists in reproducing 70 Alsatian castles as they were in the past!
This one is the Hohenbourg, located near the German border. Its mission was to facilitate the colonization of the land, to mark the imperial land and thus the border with Lorraine and to ensure the security of the imperial road to Kaiserlautern.
It was built in the 12th century and then occupied for a time by the Pullers, who already had three castles nearby. In 1457, Wyrich Puller of Hohenbourg allied himself with the Veldentz count, who was at war with the Elector and Prince Palatine Frederick the Victorious.
The latter was victorious and occupied the castles of the Pullers, including Hohenbourg. In 1482, the last Puller died at the stake in Zurich. The castle passed to the Sichingen, a powerful palatine family.
In 1680, the castle will be destroyed by the armies of Montclar to carry out the orders of Louis XIV who wanted to remove any possibility of resistance to the enemy. Today, the ruins are quite well preserved. Made with the Amberstone Pack.

Celui-ci est le Hohenbourg, situé tout près de la frontière allemande. Il avait pour mission de faciliter la colonisation des terres, marquer la terre impériale et donc la frontière avec la lorraine et assurer la sécurité de la route impériale de Kaiserlautern.
Il fut construit au XIIe siècle puis un certain temps occupé par les Pullers qui avaient déjà trois châteaux à proximité. En 1457, Wyrich Puller de Hohenbourg s'est allié au compte de Veldentz alors en guerre avec l'élécteur et prince palatin Frédérich le victorieux.
Ce dernier sort vainceur et occupe les chateaux des Pullers, dont le hohenbourg. En 1482, le dernier des Puller meut au bucher à Zurich. Le château passe aux Sichingen, puissante famille palatine.
En 1680, le château sera détruit par les armées de Montclar pour exécuter les ordres de Louis XIV qui voulait enlever toute possibilité de résistance à l'ennemi. Aujourd'hui, les ruines sont assez bien conservées. Fait avec le pack Amberstone.
