Description:
The Hollow Shades Mall is an American shopping center built in the 1960s set in the Pacific Northwest. The commercial center is surrounded by low to mid residential zoning, it also features various other types of commercial zoning such as car dealerships, restaurants and countless amounts of parking spaces. The outskirts have some low industrial zoning such as logistical centers and small factories. The whole area is connected by heavy highway infrastructure and a large cloverleaf interchange.
Design:
This map is meant to be at a 1:1 scale, I extensively researched American infrastructure such as parking spaces, road sizes and capacity to make things as realistic as possible. Designing the highway network and interchange was incredibly challenging to pull off.
