Hornvalley Estate is built on the ruins of an old mining camp along the Horn River between two small settlements. The original mine was poorly constructed and a massive cave-in claimed 18 lives. After this the mining in the area started to decline. However, a chance find by a cave explorer of emeralds has brought new life this to this old area. This is when the Franklin family took ownership of the mine and started improving conditions within it. Only two levels of the mine have been improved with the third, forth, and fifth still waiting to be re-dug. During the massive influx of new miners the Franklin family also began work on building the massive Estate from which they now rent out rooms for the miners or travelers. Many of the old collapsed mine tunnels can be seen breaching the surface all around the estate leading into long serpentine tunnels and cave systems.
So, since I'm just garbage at making and designing interiors/furniture in Minecraft a lot of the rooms would probably be empty. If anybody feels they can make some good interiors for the place and would like to give it a shot I'd be glad to see what you can come up with!
I still have to dig out some more levels in the mine as well.
Any ideas for improvements or changes would be most welcome!
Texture pack is a modified John Smith pack; you can download it here.
