This was Houston first *Official* mall built back in 1956. Palm Center was a shopping center made before, but never became a full scale "mall" (Yes I want to also recreate that too someday). It was originally an open air mall and became enclosed in 1967, this is the enclosed version. This was successful until the 90's and closed its doors in 2000. I have been to this mall in the 90's and would drive by it every Sunday for church when it was abandon for one full year until it was demolished in 2001. It is now an open shopping center.
