Hi Planet Minecraft,
After many years of wait, the Realism Society Building Team (formely known as Esterlon) are finally happy to announce the release the download for the Huntington City map!
The map contains a full roleplay-able city environment with hundreds of fully furnished stores, malls, homes etc.
This project has been the work of over 500 people over the past 3 years and we could not thank everyone enough for all the work you have put in this project. All together we've went a long way by realizing this masterpiece that is called Huntington. And today it is now time for the whole Minecraft community to enjoy it their own way.
Introduction to the city
Huntington city is one of the most realistic and functional fictive city ever built in Minecraft.
The project was started by two founders of the Esterlon Community Server, the famous Yazur and Manco in August 2014. Their goal; Do something bigger and better than their last city, Lapiz Point City that already got popular. After only 6 months of hard work, they recruited the best realistic city builders from around the world and those helped contributing to this project. With around 1000 builds so far all spread around 9k x 9k blocks city. More than 300 different homes were built as well as may other builds. Including diagonal cable bridges, roads, buildings and houses, the team tried to realize the impossible in Minecraft. The project is still unfinished.

History of the city
- The City was established in 17th Century after the french explorer Jaques-Cartier claimed Esterlon as the New-France. The city was a fort for the settlers as they were protecting Huntington bay; originally named Cheyennes bay by the Iroquois tribes of the east. The fort mainly was a stop-over place for merchants coming from Quebec City trading fur for France.
- In 1627, fortifications were made around the city as a war started between France and England.
- The same year, Cardinal Richelieu under the orders of Louis XIV king of France, sent colonies to New-France as the companies didn't consider populating the land. That is when the city officially became a merchant city under the name of Port IV, the population grew from 1000 to 17,000 habitants from 1627 to 1980.
- The city center (Now Old town) was the center of the economy of the French colony in Acadia.
- But it is on April 11th 1713 that the city fell under the hands of England after the Treaty of Utrecht between France and England. A few months later on June 21th 1713, as the English troops arrived in the city, peasants, angry, fought against the army, the English army replied burning half the city. An undred habitants died that day.
- In 1755, England ordered the expulsion of the Acadians in Acadia which made the population of the city declaim by 45% but some French stayed on the land and lived along the years with the English.

On which is the map, and I noticed on the realismsociety.com page, where the mc server is, that 2 players are making this map.
They have architect written in front of their name.
One Player is called Em and the other player is called WinterEvening.
So I think they are building a map, but I hope so. I just hope they finish this map so I can download it.
I don't even know if I can come to their server and have a look.
