For Inazuma I want to actually up the game and increase the degree of detail by a lot!
(The resource pack will play a big role for whats on our current drawing boards )

Basically this build will be the most detailed Inazuma build EVER!

Our Journey begins at the cozy island Ritou. I was able to use an item display entity to put a high resolution Genshin map image on the floor. This way, each pixel represents a block, also conveniently a meter in the distance of Genshin Impact.
Update: Ritou is now on 100% and The Main City of Inazuma is about to start being built. check out the new images on the post and onour discord server!
Update #2: I have worked tirelessly for the last couple of days on the terrain and groundfloors of the main city. Today we started actually making houses, fields and a big tree!

The building process started just a week and a half ago, but the progress is already pretty good!

I think there might be problems with the texturepack stuff, but other than that you should be able to convert it, yeah

First Mondstadt, then Sumeru City, now this. I'm half-expecting you guys to build all of Teyvat at this point, would 2030 be a feasible release date for that map?

Well.... I'm actaully currently looking for a way to get the terrain done a lot quicker, since that is the point that currently always takes the longest.

Once that holy grail is found i can't think of a reason to not build everything!

for now though, Inazuma and then Natlan :D (Fontaine will come too xD)

I'm all but certain there exists a program (or at least one in development) where you can load up Unity level geometry (since that's what Genshin is made in) and convert it into a Minecraft world. Both games' communities are nothing if not passionate enough to make something like that happen, so for all I know it's only a matter of time before the problem of getting the terrain done quicker is solved.

While we're on the topic, I feel like a project like this would run into the build height limit quite often; do you use the Cubic Chunks mod or something else like it to prevent that from happening?

I have searched through many general unity ripping tools, sadly most of them either didnt really work/ just got me some nasty trojans... I will though not yet give that topic up and continue my research.

And as for the world limit... you bet xD

That problem has become verry occurrent while building Sumeru.
My solution was pretty simple but effective: We basically wrote a datapack that overwrites minecrafts vanilla height.
This methode also enables players to simply download the map without the use of any external mods.
With Inazuma I have now continued to basically "mod" vanilla minecraft with data- and resourcepacks :D
