Iglesia de La Recoleccion (Church and Convent of the order of Recollects) was a Church and Monastery in Santiago de los Caballeros de Goathemala. (Antigua Guatemala today) It was one of over 50 churches and monasteries in the city, from which today less than a quarter remains.

Its concstruction started 1701. It was destroyed in 1773 during the devastous Santa Marta Earthquake.

Today only Ruins remain.

Northern Bell Tower Height: 52 Meter.
Southern Bell Tower Height: 50 Meter.
Cloister Bell Tower Height: 35 Meter.

Central america got a very fascinating architectural style which i appreciate a lot. And also a very Challening one. Especially Guatemala, And this city is a interesting place due to its historic importance as former Capital.

Here is a similar project im working on situated in South America.
