Hey everyone! So, this is my first Minecraft map that I've made! Originally I made it for creative but it should be playable on survival, if not my bad. I don't really know how to make a map playable on survival so yeah...
Anyway, the map is relatively bare as far as vegetation, there are a couple forests but that's about it. I made the map using WorldMachine and World Painter (both of which I'm still learning) so it might seem pretty basic. I'm certainly open to feedback on things that I can improve as long as it is CONSTRUCTIVE! If you're just going to insult me and what not, don't bother commenting. If anyone knows of some great map building tutorials that you think will help let me know! Anyway, hope you guys enjoy!

BSL Shaders, Optifine, and Conquest Reforged were used in the screenshots!

The file is not available? I went to the website that is told to you when you have to manually navigate to the website, but even if I do so, it says the file that I am looking for does not exist.

Not sure what the issue is, I just tried the link and it took me to file and let me download it. Why are you manually navigating to the site?

I manually navigated because when you click on the download button, it redirects me to a black screen with the text

It shows me a URL that I have to go to manually, but even if I go to the shown URL, it still says that the file I was trying to download is no longer available. What I did is, click the blue download button that says File Mirror, copy and paste the URL that the site you are redirected to shows you, and that is what I did. Am I doing something wrong?


Apparently your file violated the site's terms of service?

Yeah I don't believe Mega allows you to access files that way due to their encryption, at least that's my guess, I checked on my Mega account and the file is there and working. When you click on the file mirror button here, it should pop up a little box saying that you are leaving Planetminecraft for a third party site with the option to click OK/Continue. If it doesn't pop up that little box then you might have a pop up blocker that is preventing it which could cause problems. I will DM you a direct Mega link for the zip file.

Don't need to DM me anymore, just figured it out. Apparently the thing is that I use the middle mouse button, or clicked on the scroll button on the mouse, and that is the something wrong. Usually to preserve the site that I am on right now, I use the middle mouse button to use a new tab for the site that I want to access, while still having the site that I was browsing. That muscle memory will never leave me, but thanks for correcting me. Sometimes I just have to just click on it the normal way. Thank you, and have a nice day. It was just me using the scroll button. It is downloading successfully as I type this!

The map feels empty without grass, and there is holes on surface

Yeah I couldn't get the grassy areas to look right and letting World Painter populate the entire map made it waaaaay too grassy, so I'm working on getting better at natural grassy areas. As for the holes, I tried a caves layer and it broke the surface in a lot of places and when I walked it back I must have forgot to fill them in...my bad. Thanks for letting me know!
