It was located at the address: Moscow, Tverskaya Street, 3.
During the construction of this hotel, the builders used an innovative technology for calculating foundation slabs using a computer. The building had 22 ground and 2 underground floors, and also housed 436 rooms, including 70 suites and 13 apartments.
Unfortunately, due to the "war" of Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov with Soviet hotels, the building, namely a sample of Soviet modernism of the 1960s, was lost. It was lost along with objects of art of regional significance - rare patterned stained-glass windows in the halls of the hotel were irretrievably lost.
RIP 1970-2002.
