This post mostly serves as a place for planning for myself, and demonstrating the procedures used.
While attempting to stand out from the masses of Minecraft videos and channels, I've began to plan a unique intro sequence for upcoming videos.
As opposed to animating an intro with 3rd party software, I plan to utilize Minecraft's mechanics to animate the bulk of my intro.
A lot of details are still being worked out as this is a fresh concept. The architectural drawing area will have a LOT of redstone & command block mechanics, dependant on performance whether or not shots will be possible to execute this way.
General Layout:
Duration: ~20-35 seconds
Music: TBD - Suspenseful/Upbeat
Shot sequence:
-Slow Open to panning across Hollow Hill Courtyard
-Camera pans into exterior wall
-Transition to architectural drawing area
-Arch. Draw. Area starts off blank, with house schematic backsplash & flat terrain
-Using /clone - Landscape begins to phase in, foundation of house forms chunk-by-chunk
-Using /clone - House begins to be built, clean version of house displayed chunk-by-chunk
-Using /clone - House catches fire and a portion is burned
-Using /clone - Fire extinguishes, vegetation becomes overgrown
-Transition to house shown in actual project grounds with surrounding landscape
-Fade to black then show "The Abandonment Project" in STALKER font
-OR-
-Build the words "The Abandonment Project" in-game and use /clone to animate overgrowth & decay
