An old project that I decided to finally to renders on.

2k x 2k Island with a giant mountain in the center of it. Throughout the island there are various plains surrounded by forest of both pine and oak trees. The map was made around 2 months ago and I just decided to release it, as I finally found the effort to do so. o/

Feel free to use the map for whatever you need it for, as long as you supply credit to me. :)

It's a pretty good map, with the exception of strange north part, lack of ores (they're not generated), using fences in the trees (they look intresting, but non-useful) and outdated concept of islands even despite the age of the map. I tried to use WorldPainter to fix the lack of ores, but it only broke chunks, deleted plants and caused armageddon)

This map was made months after the introduction of World Machine. The content is old, outdated and at the time was mediocre. If you'd like updated content, I'd suggest you follow me on Twitter @Aeriooos. PMC is practically dead, so all my content goes to there.

I have used the world machine program for a short period of time, but how do you get the nice rolling land into larger mountains (basically how it blends so well)?

I actually don't recall anymore for this map, but now I use a lot of combiners and maybe a gcombiner from Geogylph to help with adding stuff to other stuff.
