A quick terraforming project to keep my hand in. I've made a decent improvement on shaping and detailing lately, so I'm finally reaching a point where I can say "no" to impostor syndrome and actually feel properly satisfied about my terrain again.
Nothing special to say about this map, at present. The idea is that this is a tropical island that formed around a very old volcano that became inactive hundreds of thousands of years ago.
You'll find that it's got much lighter stone than a volcano normally would, in vanilla. It's diorite-based, which is pretty unnatural for a volcano as far as I know.
I just thought it looked pretty good that way, realism isn't that important to me.
Not survival compatible, sadly. That's more difficult than I originally anticipated.

I see you're a great builder and... waaaaaay much better than me, keep the hard work!
Anyway.. is that map made with worldpainter? I really want to learn that great program!
