The build itself looks great, I believe I didn't mention so far that I like those sliding doors to. These are a great addition in my eyes.
I do miss the place were the water is being boiled/heaten up. I take it that it needs to be from stone or something non flameable material made.
Besides were bathouses back then mixed or not mixed between males and females?
Just a suggestion but have you thought about making a hot spring type of bathouse?

I think that until the Tokugawa Shogunate they were mixed. At the end of Edo period they started to divide them by sex. But that didn't lasted long and later they were mixed again.
Oh, that's a great idea! I will look into some photos and try to inform myself better about it before I build it.
