The Imperial Japanese Battleship Mikasa, the commanded by Admiral Togo. She became historically noted for her actions during the Russo-Japanese War of 1904–1905 when she was the flagship and fought the Imperial Russian fleet in the Pacific.

The real Mikasa was commissioned in 1902 and her original main armaments included 4 x 12-inch (305 mm) 40-calibres Mk III guns with pair of these guns mounted in two armored turrets. She was modeled after the British Majestic-class design of Batteship, before the mighty HMS Dreadnought was built. The ship still exists today in Yokosuka, Japan, as the very last Pre-Dreadnought Battleship in existence.

To honor the ship as minecraft project of my own, my second historical. I created this Mikasa on NavalClash server, where unlike most places, this ship is not just a building that looks like a ship, it fully functional and can fight her own battles with other ships!

My Mikasa is armed with pair of Triple TnT Cannons disguised as Twin barrel cannons, forward and aft. Due space restriction i have with this WIP of her does not have as many secondary guns as the original ship. I have placed 6 single barrel TnT cannons across the ship, 2 fixed forwards pair per broadside, and two aft mounted. I've thicken the hull up, with double layer of iron blocks, and endstone with some stonebrick in place of her armor belts. As modification for use on the server, i've added eight additional AA-Guns (machine guns) to help her cope with attacking aircraft and destroying incoming torpedoes. She has 3 engine boiler 2 style engines armored in facade of the real Mikasa's two vertical triple-expansion steam engines. I added some duplicate engines encase first were destroyed by lucky hit. Her appearance was only thing i thought wasn't as good, so she seemed taller and stubbier than the original.

Added bonus, the ship's maiden's voyage on the server turn out to be her first naval battle, Her opponent was a German themed warship commanded by Creeperhate! The server has numerous options of Minecraft vehicles, including aircraft and sneak submarines. I was fortunate that i accidentally found myself in a classic sea battle with Mikasa! I did not have a crew, but nether did my opponent and we had a fun battle where Mikasa sunk her opponent before succumbing to it's damage and sank!

This is kinda fun you can have on the server, i was very happy when my opponent complimenting me how tough the Mikasa was and giving fun battle!

The ship maybe not super detailed, but it was fun ship to use! You can use it on any server with the navycraft plugin or come play on the NavalClash server fight in combat!
