Welcome to this mysterious cave! It is actually the center of Minecraft. Prove it? Fine, fallow the old mineshaft then when you get to the end, look down. You'll see it. The core. Here's some advise:
1. Do not touch the core.
2. Do not explore ANY WHERE else except the mineshaft.
3. Fight any monster(s) that come out.
4. DON'T DIE!!!
