To the north lies the Kalaal, a land that even the most bloodthirsty of warlords leaves alone. The mighty pines hide much - creatures of the night, hidden stores of nuts and the odd hunter strolling the wilds, but not even the mightiest of pines can hide the great hills of the untamed north. Amid the rocks lies the glacier - the ancient guardian of these lands. The traditional people of this place send seers to the glacier to worship the tribal spirits that have kept them sheltered for so many years, seeking shelter and good fortune for not just themselves but their community. The lands elsewhere may be war torn and disrupted, but the lands here are cold yet forgiving.

The terrain itself is the first of two frost themed maps I'm releasing this winter. This map is the first time I've created a glacier, and it was an interesting thing to make! It took me a while but after some experimentation I'm pleased with the result. Walking through the map almost feels like walking through the lands of the Narnia universe, and that's not a bad thing at all. Have a great December everyone!
