THE KREMLIN IS FINISHED - for now. i've chosen to not work on this anymore until the future - if ever again. so it will remain at .7.4 for awhile because i was going to make this into a server but decided not to.

I will be taking many parts from this project and placing them my upcoming server i will be owning and hosting at my university - stay tuned for when the IP address is released. but note, it will not be public until my friends and i install all the plugins we want, and have the world built. i am currently building the spawn area and the capitol city.

the funny thing about my project is that i didn't mean to build it. originally i was building Bowerstone Castle from Fable III but after i completed one half i realized that you know, it would be quite difficult to make things when you don't know what it looks like on the inside, and only working off two angles. so instead of working on that i was just going to practice a main entrance (as you see in the pictures) and then go back to my server and upgrade my mega project there. but the server was no more, so i just sat and built in this in a few weeks.

a Kremlin is a Russian Castle or Fortress (most famous being Moscow Kreml') and the name Neudorf comes from the village my family emigrated from Russia to the US at the turn of the century. Neudorf Kremlin is a castle which was inspired by baroque architecture, with it's high contrasting colors and high walls. slightly scottish in it's origin such as the west and east wings you see in the courtyard. the castle there are about 130 rooms, more or less. currently the features i have built consist of (excluding the obvious such as kitchen, bedrooms, etc)

• Battle Training Arena: you may choose to combat from afar with your bow in the archery practice range. or descend into the underworld to my Obsidian and Lava Survival room where the key is to survive as long as possible. supplies have been given to you, but there are upgrades in the room if you can find them. to get here, head north after entering the Foyer, it will be the only door on the north wall.
  
• Mob Display: Four jail cells which are filled with various types of Mobs - Zombies, Monsters (evil NPC that look like Steve), Zombie Pigmen (found in the Nether) and Zombies. though the cells don't hold them in the right cages, because other mobs spawn inside with them.
  
• the Sun: a large 61x61 block sphere with the anterior walls being Glowstone- with a train track bridge that spans the distance through (the track will reach future expansion) (this is the only piece of the project that i used MC edit to create)
  
• Giant Oak: my one of a kind Giant tree, made piece by piece because ever great castle needs to have an oversized tree that conveniently grows in the exact middle of a specified area :P you may access the tree and climb to the top if you go through the library at the north end of the Kremlin.
  
• Throne Room: Multi level viewing of the throne, in a large arched ceiling spanning the structure. (unfinished)
  
• Chapel: i attend a Lutheran University, so if course i felt obliged to make a chapel somewhere - and why not the roof top to make them lazy christians walk up multiple flights of stairs?
  
• Sugar Cane Farms: on the top level of each corridor - good for creating your own bookshelves if you feel so compelled.
  
• Water Monument: in the name of Poseidon, which does him no justice. there will be an addition of a water slide, also reaching future expansion. to get here, follow the walkway (either the upper or lower deck) west, and you will reach it.
  
• Lava Pit: walk down the stairs on the sides of the lower walkway to the library, you will reach my handmade, crudely mad half dome with lava flowing down to the center point. this is directly underneath the Oak.
  
• Privy Chamber: (private living quarters) consisting of an floor inlayed mob display of creepers, spiral staircase to the master bedroom with round view of the entire Kremlin, especially if you go to the roof where there is a giant torch lighting up the night sky.
  
• Secret Library: my girlfriend seriously nagged me during the entire construction to make her a secret study - so i gave in and made it for her. this is how you reach the sun, and what is currently just a waterfall that falls do the bedrock. there also a full workshop consisting of multiple furnaces, floor inlayed workbenches and incinerator.
  
• Spleefing Arena: my version of the popular game of spleefing, i was going to just make a pit and a basic lava pool. rather i made a temple to hold the arena. with a dome on the roof, letting in light during the day, and rings of torches around the windows adding decoration during the night.
  
• Extensive Living Quarters: placed throughout the main castle, there are dozens of bedrooms and beds able to bed over a hundred people.
  
• Plaid Carpeting: you will notice in several locations throughout the castle that i placed some of my Plaid Carpeting - using wool. i posted numerous examples, if you want to see more color scheme check my profile.
  
• *Train Station: Every great city in the world has a train station to get where you're going. my tracks feature two tracks that both span the 352m distance to the water dome. don't worry about mobs spawning on the tracks because the walls are decorative bushes, and the length is fully lit by glowstone.
  
• *Water Dome: at the end of the train tracks there is a large Water Dome 55x55x39. the area is mainly a large glass dome which is oblong, with two spirals of glowstone climbing to the top. there is a pool in the middle with a small pool suspended above.
  

Please, leave me feedback so i will be able to better my project. i need more ideas on what to build around the main castle. if i like the idea, i will build it, and i will name it after the person who suggests it. my current ideas on what to add are a full village with shops, community workshop, and a university style quad in the middle of it all.
plus a track and field - on the count of i love the sport, and why not build a stadium somewhere inside my area. if anything i will definitely make a Javelin runway - my event.
