This was made for version 1.14.4. However, I have since abandoned the project. I may make a newer version using a datapack instead but as of right now I have no plans to do so.
In this Minecraft survival challenge world, lava will begin to rise from y=0 at a regular interval, 1 level at a time. The automated command block setup will fill all air, water, and obsidian at the next level. This will run until y=256. The goal is to kill the ender dragon.
When the world is loaded you will spawn into a small hub which will allow you to choose the interval at which the lava rises. As soon as you press the button the world will begin. Within the 180x180 world border, there is a stronghold in the overworld, and a fortress in the nether.
The entire mechanism for the lava is functioning. The remaining 10% of progress is involved with the ender dragon fight, which, currently is not possible as the ender dragon is outside of the world border. I am working on a fix for this, but for now, when you enter the end, enter the command: /worldborder set 18000, and when you exit the end, "/worldborder set 180".
This world is not based off Pewdiepie's recent video nor any other lava rising video. I was inspired to make an automated world like this with my friend after watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFhTkAj_J0U&t=1085s by Wilbur Plays. However, this world can give a similar experience to the events in any youtube videos in which lava rises from the ground.
Version .2: I set the world spawn inside of the spawn.
