I'm proud to present you today a work of months:
Le monde is a gigantic map thought to be a unique world like no others, with more than a twenty places and custom biomes.
Every biome or place have its very own atmosphere and i guarantee you that you will never find two similar places.
This map is originally thought to be experienced as a survival adventure, you will find all you need, caverns, ores, villages,stronghold, and every 1.8 blocks to complete a survival adventure.

How large is the map ?

The map is 13824 blocks by 16384 blocks large. It's one of the largest map ever posted on PMC.
What did you used to create this ? How many time have you spent on this map ?

I used Wolrdpainter and no worldmachine to create the map. This time I helped myself with a couple of custom brushes due to the enormous size. I also used MC edit to convert and place a bunch of trees, rocks and object I built especially for this map. The renders were made with Chunky. The whole creation took me around 150 hours of work in 3 months.
Can I play in survival mode on this map ?
You said the map is 1.8 ready, I really can find everything of minecraft 1.8 there ?
any other informations I should know ?
Can I use the map for everything I want ? like making a server from it ? or building on it and then upload my work on pmc ?
You can use this map as you wish as long as you credit me as the original creator of the map !

The map is made for survival, that means that you will find everything for a good adventure: like cave systems and ores. Even Villages and stronghold !
You said the map is 1.8 ready, I really can find everything of minecraft 1.8 there ?

You can find everything and every blocks (like new stone types) about minecraft 1.8 on this map except Guardians mobs and water temple but the map contains prismarine. Also there is no sugar canes and no lilypads, i forgot to add them, just give you some when you'll need it !

(the only problem is that it is so gigantic that it took a very long time to download!)
I've been playing minecraft since 2011 and I've never really gotten involved in the community until I found this map.
Can I just say that I'm actually shocked at how well done this map is, Im currently staring at it from above in Unmined and to think you made this in a few months is shocking, someone could tell me they took years to make this and I still wouldn't believe them.
I just wanted to drop by and tell you how awesome this is, I'm running this on a local server in my house for me and my fiance to play on, we both love it, we've sat in the study for hours at a time just exploring this, you're a god.
