How to install and play (Singleplayer):
  1. Run Minecraft in 1.12.2.
  2. Download optifine for 1.12.2 and run it. (Not required but recommended for the ressource pack).
  3. Download the Kroukour Ressource pack with custom textures and sounds.
  4. Put the ressource pack file into your Minecraft ressource pack folder. How to find that folder: Open Minecraft > Options > Ressource Packs > Open Ressource Pack Folder.
  5. Now the ressource pack should be visible in your Minecraft ressource pack options. Don't activate any other ressource pack as they might override textures and sounds.
  6. Download the Kroukur map and put it into your world saves folder. How to find that folder: Go back to your ressource pack folder. If you go one folder up, you can find the "saves" folder right next to the "ressourcepacks" folder.
  7. Load the world. Play the game with a view distance of at least 10 to load all command blocks.
How to player with your friend (Multiplayer Server):
  • Use a Vanilla server.
  • Turn on Monster and Villager spawn in properties.
  • Do not set a spawnpoint in the configs. If you do not spawn in a black room at the beginning your server world spawn/spawnpoint is not as it's supposed to be.

Note, that the project has been discontinued! I started working on a major update. However, it takes a lot of time and energy that I currently don't have. I might finish that update some day. The map is playable at this stage and it's still great fun, but you might come across some small bugs and rough edges.

Can't download the map. Get to set 3, it opens up a website that had NOTHING but ads, just like AdFly, but I can't find the ONE button that takes you to the download. What a shame :(

Sorry for that. I'm not really working on that project anymore for some years and I haven't checked on it. It's really nice though that people still play it :)

Therefore, I updated the PMC post above with working download links (and no ads). I also put all information from the website here too and removed the link to the outdated website.

Hi, we have an issue, we want to play the map with 2 friends and myself and at the beggining, we hit the first button, we get tp, the we hit on the 2nd button, Kroukur is shown with the rules in the chat but nothing happend, same for the tp, only one player gets tp when we want to "force pass", we are playing in 1.13 with Minecraft Realms

As the map description tells: It's a 1.12 map. There are lots and lots of command changes in 1.13. I won't be able to update the map with all thousands of commands to 1.13. I updated every time since 1.9. But 1.13 changes are too many. So unfortunately you will have to play it on 1.12.

Unfortunately not. Maybe it is but I don't know how. The blocks and commands are seperated from the player data so it's theoretically possible but you have to know which files inside the world folder to copy exactly. I don't know that

The map downloads as an empty zipped folder for me!... But not the recourse pack. What might I have done wrong?
