M.S. Willem Ruys - Passenger Liner
Constucted at Koningklijke Maatschappij (Royal Company) De Schelde form Vlissingen (Flushing)
Started in 1938 and halted druing the second world war. (The unfinished ship was visible for 5 years on the ramp)
Finished in 1947 for the Royal Rotterdam Lloyd. Used for journeys between The Netherlands and the Dutch-Indies.
1964 refurbished to cruise liner
Sold to the Italian Lauro Line and became know as "Achille Lauro"

Hijacked in 1985 and burend down in 1994.

The Schelde Shipwarf wil be surrounding the ship. This is my next project and the reason in build the ship.
