This is a tool for making a "google map" of your world, it isn't exactly google maps but it looks the same, the world save isn't a world but Tectonicus (the tool that will do the work for you) and some pre-defined configurations i prepared so you don't have to worry about how it works.



First you unzipp the zipfile you just downloaded here and put it wherever you like. open the folder xml, select the example.xml file press CTRL+C and then CTRL+V windows will create a duplicate file, this is so you'll still have the examle later for when you render more then one world.

next you got to your minecraft save folder and copy the name of the world you would like to render.



Now return to where you unzipped the files and right click on the file render.bat and press edit.

you'll see <---name world folder---> 4 times in the document, replace all four with the name of the world folder you just copied (make sure you copy the name and not just typed it to prevent errors, it's case sensitive and sensitive to spaces)

next you go to the xml folder. then you change the name of the duplicate xml file to the same name your world folder has (the name you coppied). then rigth click it and press edit. the same in this file replace <---name world folder---> with the name of the folder.



if you wich you could experimentate a bit with the options to see what gives the best result. if you put cameraelevation on 0 you look right up, 90 is looking right down, number zoomlevels is logic, cameraangle is straight down.

if you want to render more worlds you just edit the render file render.bat, copy all that is in that file and paste it below what's in the file. now you repeat this blog, only in the render.bat file you replace the name of the first world name with the second.
