Abittermelon I am glad to hear that you have responded to my previous message. I just have a question, are you still building manhattan even after you updated the download? If you are can you please let me know which area of Lower Manhattan you are building now?

Hello! Yes, I am still working on Lower Manhattan exclusively. I am now focusing on the East River waterfront, and my goal is to fill in the corner from the South Street Seaport, up to the Brooklyn Bridge. I would like to promise that this section will be finished before the end of 2023 since I want to release updates more often from now on. Thanks for asking!

Hi! I've always loved the 90s and the NYC I saw in movies when growing up. As for the specific year, I use resources such as a 1996 aerial survey, tax photos from 1984-1987, as well as modern-day Google Maps & Earth images from the 2000's to fill in the gaps. I was inspired by the gritty aesthetic including buildings from before 1996, so I landed on the year before that. Kind of arbitrary I know, but glad you enjoyed it!

Hi Abittermelon, I downloaded your map and I really love it. Finally the World Trade Center and other famous building such as One Liberty Plaza, The Woolworth Building and more! Anyways Abittermelon I really appreciate all the hard work you have spent on this map. I bet that this project requires a lot of research and knowledge in order to make an accurate Lower Manhattan map in Minecraft. And now you have shared your map with us! Thank you for all your hard work into this map!

Hello! I am happy that you enjoyed the map, it helps knowing that others can recognize the work that goes into it! I know people have been wanting an update, but I was afraid they would focus on more on what's missing instead of what is there. Especially since it is half-scale, I included as many places to explore as I could before the release. So thank you for the continued support! More updates to come.
