Hey guys. I'm BestBuds1911 (aka Friendly123 on MC) and today I'm showcasing one of my latest projects, and by no mean do I mean to turn this into a blog, but before I know it, this will probably be pretty long! Before I get to that I feel like you should know me a bit so you don't have to be so stressed out and nervous about viewing my posts. ;)

The Origins of my Name
Well, if you've read this far I must say, I am very proud of you. Thanks for reading - in advance. If you're here just to see my builds you can probably skip down right now and skip the part to 'get to know me'. As I mentioned above, my Planet Minecraft name is BestBuds1911 but I go by Friendly123 on Minecraft. Why? Well the best way to put it is just say that I wasn't thinking at the time. I registered my Minecraft back in 2011 and I didn't realize that the PMC name of 'Friendly123' wouldn't work. No clue at all why it wouldn't work, but it just wouldn't. And originally my Planet Minecraft account was created to be a shared account with my friend (sorry for the violation of the rules guys... it is only mine now, my friend no longer plays Minecraft, I promise)... That's where the 1911 comes from. "19" was his favorite number and "11" was my favorite number. Which makes it "Best buds ... 19 & 11" Basically.
Again though, not sure where Friendly123 originated. I wasn't very creative back in 2011 and I've never wanted to change to BestBuds1911 for who knows what reason.

Where I came from and how I got to where I am
Well like you'd assume, someone like me with building talent, brains, and everything that makes a person great & talented, would come from somewhere clean, safe, etc. Wrong. I come from a broken down home. Now don't get me wrong, not the 'broken down' you are probably thinking of. I have a house to live in, so don't question that! I come from a broken house because my family is all messed up etc. But this is just a gaming website so I'm sure half of you really don't care about that. What you care about is how I got here.
Well to be completely honest. I got where I am by starting. I am so glad I started building 4 (almost 5) years ago because ever since I have been getting better. If I didn't start back then, I wouldn't have this building hobby and I wouldn't have all of my potential. And to add to that, I really only got into building based on the bullies and this one supportive man that I met, way back in the Minecraft Classic (the web version of Minecraft). Yep that's right. Bullies got me here. They said I'm a horrible builder and everything then finally this man name Hazel1 came and basically told me to let my imagination to run wild. And boy, it worked. I just let go and bam. My builds got amazing. Well that's what I wished would've happened. They didn't just go from horrible, to the best thing you've ever seen. They slightly got better each time I built. He continued to give me advice then suddenly he quit the game. I was pretty ashamed at the time, but dang I was grateful for what he taught me. Anyone can build. It's just a matter of when you want to start building and when you want to stop comparing yourself to others.

I'm just a normal kid
Yep. You're probably reading that like "Whaaat?" But yes, I am completely normal - well I'm unique, but I'm still a kiddo. I'm only 14 years of age, which usually surprises lots of people, especially when they realize how fluent I am in English and use correct form, grammar etc. They even freak out more when they realize how I build. But yep, just a normal kid, going through school, spending his time building on Minecraft and freely expressing his imagination.

Well this is the moment you've been waiting for. You know me now and if you read through that, and wasted an extra what... *insert how fast you read / how long it took you to read it here*. But yes, before I get lost. Let's share my secret places...

This build and the server it is on!
This build is a very large, detailed, 8 portal hub. I was going for a theme that would be more snowy / icey because the server I built it for has the name of "Frosted Network". Along with that, there are customized little terrain areas in between the paths to the portals. Overall I believe I pulled off a very well built hub and they think so as well.
