The Castle of Sedes Regis once belonged to the former kings of Sanctus. Once the Drogovid empire fell, pirates took over the kingdom of Sanctus. The castle used to be a place of luxury and spacious wealth. Now it is more crammed because all the important pirate lords want a place at the castle. There are 19 pirate crews in Draecoden and 8 of them are the main rulers now. Together they form the pirate coalition. Many people in the Drogovid territory think that the pirates are savages, but the kingdoms conquered by the pirates say otherwise. The pirates are nothing but former citizens of the Drogovid empire. When the Drogovids burned down their own people during the Oshuzrak war many people decided to abandon their former dragonlords and start their own empire. The pirates aren’t very kin to the people outside of Draecoden so they raid and steal from other kingdoms, which might get them into trouble in the future. Especially now that the current Drogovids are marching to go to war with the pirates. But one thing is for sure, the pirates will never kill their own people like the Drogovids did.
