This is my "Behind the Picket Fence" contest entry.




Mayson Mansion is an old baroque mansion located near Wallisbury, England.
Hendrik Mayson hired a danish architect named Edgar Diddel in 1952 to build a mansion
that should represent his wealth. He got rich with investments in the upcoming industry
during the industrial revolution. Today the large villa is empty and for sale, the last
heir died 23 years ago.



The mansion's interior is defined by the large entrance hall with a staircase to the upper
rooms. There's a living room, a bedroom, a small kitchen and a dining room for the homeowners.
The colors used in the mansion are warm and mostly dark and brown. It is heavily influenced by baroque and
victorian styles.
At the front and at the back of the mansion there is a small garden-area with some flowers, bushes and a cute little fountain.


Originally i didn't plan to take part in this contest because i didn't have much time in
the last weeks. But then i came up with a great idea for a large mansion and the result
turned out pretty well. I was in a hurry to finish it in time but I worked hard
this weekend to present the building.


The history of this mansion is only fictive, there's no real-life inspiration for this build
