✠ Hello everyone ✠
In this project I am building a medieval themed archipelago called "Windfall Haven".
This island is completely fictionnal but I try to make it as realistic and coherant as possible.
The exterior aspect of the islands is now finished !
Feel free to wander in Windfall Haven.
I've been working on this project mostly alone for about 5 years.
The main goal was to create a fictionnal place that seems both realisticly authentic and absolutely epic. Thus it had led to a completely impregnable fortress with a combined style of Normand, French, German, Scottish, and even some Slavic, and Nordic architecture related to the lore of these islands.

- The Citadel:
The castle is totally impregrable. it has more than 50 towers, 20 gates, 1 drawbridge, 12 portcullis many machicolations and arrowslits, 2 main courtyards, can maintain a garrison of over 200 soldiers and has a big food storage.
(The citadel has been completely reworked recently)

- The City:
The exterior aspect is completely finished but streets details and most interiors are still missing.
It countain 14 different districts, 4 fortified entrances, 80 towers, a cathedral, a church, 2 chapels, 2 dry docks, some elevated gardens, a theatre, 2 marketplaces, many traders/builders guild houses, a huge harbour and enough houses to countain more than 1200 inhabitants. - The Monastery:

100% completed
All have been built in creative for minecraft 1.14.4 with plugins like WorldEdit.
The terraforming has been done using a combinaison of WorldMachine, WorldPainting, WorldEdit and VoxelSniper.
the island is compatible for all versions of minecraft PC above 1.14.X
I use the monsterfish_Conquered Tree Schematics for the vegetation
Ships are mainly based on the work of thebigbaron, huge thanks to him!
I highly recommand to use the Conquest texture pack in order to enjoy the map !

Lore : the city has been founded in 1067 by Harard Sigurdsson "Harðráði" after his campain in England (in this reality he did not die at Stamford Bridge but did still lost the battle). It is located north of actual Netherlands, in the Dogger Bank. In it's current state, in 1430, the island is independant and a duke with the title of "Lord of the Isles" rules it. His domain also include some territories in Iceland, Visby, Orkney and other coastral provinces and is able to maintain his independance and clout with trading pacts and alliances.

-Started adapting the map to conquest 1.14
-Remade the whole Citadel
-Added gothic ducal chapel
-Remade the ducal keep
-Remade the harbour church

-FInished the ravenspire harbour
-Started to add detail on the streets

Sadly I have not made any "significant" improvement to this map since the last release, so I don't plan to update the download link yet.
The reasons for the lack of update for the last few years are due to the fact that I have less free time than 4 years ago and also that I am still trying to find a good workaround to the "biome painting" issue with the Conquest texture pack that emerged with the 1.15 Minecraft version...
Lately, I have slowly returned to Minecraft building and I hope to 100% complete this map one day :)
For now I supposed you will have to do with this version, at least I managed to finish the exterior and it only lacks a bunch of interiors and also new features made possible with the newer Minecraft version before I can call it complete.
