✠ Hello everyone ✠

In this project I am building a medieval themed island.
This island is completely fictionnal but I try to make it as realistic as possible.

As you can clearly see, this project is not finish yet but I currently work hard on it. You can already download the map if you want inspiration but dont expect full detail nor full furnishment for most insides.

The Island crest

The castle:
The castle is very defensible it has 9 gates, 1 drawbridge, 6 portcullis many murderholes and arrowslits 2 main courtyards a garnison of 200 guards and a big food storage.
(I'm not happy whith the state of the castle right now, so expect big changes in the future)

The city:
The exterior aspect is finished but details and most interiors are still missing.
It countain 4 fortified entrances, 80 towers, a cathedral, a church, 2 chapels, 2 dry docks, some gardens, a theatre, 2 marketplaces, many traders/builders guild houses, a huge harbour and enough houses to countain more than 1000 inhabitants.

The Monastery:
Exterior finished

The varangian castle:
Not started yet

The fields:
completed

All have been built in creative 1.13.2 with plugins like WorldEdit.
The terraforming has been done using a combinaison of WorldMachine, WorldPainting, WorldEdit and VoxelSniper.
the island is compatible for all versions of minecraft PC above 1.13.X

The render is made with Chunky or the Conquest_of the Sun by monsterfish and the KUDA's shaders.
I use the monsterfish_Conquered Tree Schematics for the vegetation
I recommand to use the Conquest or at least the john_smith texture pack for enjoying it.
Texture pack: Conquest 32x32

Lore : the castle has been founded in 1067 by Harard Sigurdsson "Harðráði" after his campain in England (in this reallity he did not die at stamford bridge but sill loose the battle). It is located north of actual Netherlands. In his current state, in 1450 the island is independant and the duke who rules it also have some territories in Iceland and other coastral provinces and can maintain his independance with trading pacts and alliances.

There is a similar but more recent project that I have made, if you like this map, then you'll love this one: LINK

I appreciate that you are sharing you creations with us but you download scheme is total BS and you should be reported! It's a shame that you have to ruin your generosity by being such a bunghole. You're taking advantage of young kids who probably end up accidentally installing some spyware ridden program just to get your download. I hope you get banned from the site!

You copying czech national symbol why you dont use you custom symbol

Yeah it's true, I use the Bohemian Lion in the Island heraldic because it is such a cool symbol and also because the city in the lore was a dependance of the norwegian crown who also had a lion in their crest. Then I added the ermines on top in order to differenciate the crest with the Bohemian Kingdom and to call to mind the secular and oceanic aspect of the island shared with the Duchy of Britanny.
Still, I'm glad that you appreciate my work !

Amazing. I spent the better part of 4 hours walking around it. I am staggered. And there is still so much to see!
I am still having a lot of difficulty downloading the world and viewing it. I do not think that your link is compatible with the Microsoft Minecraft edition. I've done a lot of trouble shooting and research and still am unable to view the world. If possible, could you try the 3-D viewer again?
It's because the world save is Java.....different from the Bedrock Edition for Windows 10. You have to use a converter such as MCCToolChest PE (about the only one that I found that actually works!) to convert PC (Java) into Bedrock (PE).

Very well. There are plenty of other parts of the adventure map I can work on while I wait to see what you decide to do with it. ;)

I am curious: when you say "we will see," I am wondering how you will make your decision. Many of your maps (Such as Giebichenstien) say things like "You may use this map for any purpose so long as you give me credit." I am curious why this map might be different. For instance, are you planning to sell rights for people to use it on servers, etc?
You will be able to use this map freely just like my other projects, the only issue is that I already planned a sort of adventure/discovery thing concerning the depth of the map.
But to be honest I don't think that would disturb your work.
Also all of my projects including this one are indeed free to use as long as it's a personnal project (or with friends on a server).
But If you aim to post a modification of my project on PMC for exemple, even with credits, I might not accept simply because this map is requiring 100 times more work than the others :/
But As I said, we will see when it's ended.
hello I wanted to ask if I can put the map to download. I will not give it like my card and will link to the website
Yeah it's ok as long as you link to the website :)
But, by simple curiosity, why do you have to put it to download ?
I am super inspired by your projects, display, and architecture. I'm excited to see what
you'll build next!

That is really a pleasure to watch your project. Beside the project itself (which is fabulous), your whole presentation is very nice.
Can you enable the 3-D World Viewer capability?
Yes, that's a good Idea, let's hope that the map is not too big
Well... I tried to import my .schematics file into the 3-D World Viewer but when it launch, the web page simply crash all the time.
So I will try to share a link where everyone can see the map in 3d whithout World Viewer :/
Would you be able to enable the 3-D world viewer on the main castle
component on your map or like half of your map. It may solve the "crashing"
problem that you were facing when you tried to load the entire map on the
viewer.
Here is a link with a complete 3D render html file : http://www.mediafire.com/file/caq856b0fx9uj5s/SECOND.zip
Beware, the file is quite big.
Can you try the 3-D viewer again. I have tried numerous times and still cannot download the file and properly open it from the link that you have given and from the links on this site. Is there a file or download link that is compatible with windows 10 Minecraft?
I've tried the 3-D viewer again, for the entire map, for the city only and for the castle only but the result is always the same, the viewer crash certainly due to the overload of details or the big scale.

So I invite you to download the file via the link I sent you (wich I admit take a long time 40min for me :/) then dezip it and just double click the html file and it will open in your favorite web browser.
It is a complete 3D view of my map with 4 isotropic view and a top view and with the good texture pack (it took me at least 4 hours to learn how to use the software and render the thing...)

I understand that with a Minecraft Windows 10 Edition, it is hard to use the java Edition Schematics, but they are simply incompatibles. for exemple I often use pupur blocks for rooftops and they are not present in the Windows 10 Edition. That's why it's impossible to adapt a java schematic file to a windows 10 one.

If you can visualize schematics file with software like MCedit, here is the Main Island .Schematic file : http://www.mediafire.com/file/hmcl43agc2rawc3/ISLAND.schematic

Thank you for taking such an interest in my work and I really hope that you will be able to solve your issue.
Okey, I'm very curious about it:
How do you do the paintings?!!?!?!?
I know its a pixel art in the floor since I saw it on the repository map you uploaded but... How?! do you use some program that converts pictures into pixel arts or are you such a madman that you do it all by yourself?!?!?!?
Any way, its an amazing work you're doing here! keep it up!
Hi, thank you for taking an interest in my work!
I started making paintings since my Ragnarstein project and by that time I was doing pixel arts by myself but it was small paintings back then :)
Then I used a program to create schematics of pictures and i used it for this project (you can see all the pixel arts in a far away locations).
But now I use a way more conveniant method : MC Map Item Tool. It allow to directly convert pictures (previously sized and contrasted adequatly) to minecraft maps.
Wow! Didn't know that existed! Thank you so much for sharing it!
Man, your work is so awesome... WIsh I could create something like what you do.

Just tried the update of your repository too and that also is warning of maliscious code. Never had this problem with the prior downloads of these 2 files and it's casting me into a depressing hate spiral as I am a massive fan of your builds and will be forced to walk this earth as a bloodthirsty avatar of destruction if this situation continues on its current path of viral rejectosis.
Thank you for taking an interest in my project. I've tried and it works just fine for me. To be honest you are the first person who had any problem with the download, so the issue must be caused by your antivirus software or browser. try to disable adblock if you have it or allow adf.ly links in your software. And if the warning persist try to discard it and continue because my links may contains ads, but they are totally malware free. Good luck !

Small Update

hi everyone,
I know that I aimed to finish my unfinished projects before the end of summer but I haven't been able to do so...
And now my schedule is simply too dense to make any progress on these builds.
Whenever I have time, I try to build, but at this speed I will not finish these builds in years :/
That and the fact that Monsterfish_ has realeased the 1.12 version of conquest texture pack (Excelent update tbh) made me change a lot of things in my maps and this also takes a lot of times.
But the good news is that I have still some holidays and they will come quite quickly. So I aim to build a lot during this time.
cheers,

Hello! :D

How goes the build Sir Rouge! =) I`ve had a MASSIVE hard drive failure! Lost all my bleeding work! =(

So I am back to scratch! Trying to recreate from memory my project. A big setback! But I won't abandon it!

Will work hard and get it posted asap!

I hope you are enjoying your summer! Greetings from Rain! =)
Damn, sorry for you :/
I wish you good luck for your build, you need a great deal of willpower in order to recreate a project like that !
I hope it will go well.
Concerning the build, I haven't been able to do anything these 2 last weeks because I was in vacation without any connection nor a PC but now I'm working on all my unfinished projects.
My objective is that they will be finished in the end of summer.

Have a good day/night sir !
